Artist Statement

I love the beauty of nature. Nature is my favorite thing to paint. The view of mountains takes my breath away. The beauty is stunning. While I love all different types of nature, Mountains are my favorite. This painting is unique because of the reflection of the mountains. Water is a challenge to paint and reflections are even more challenging. Being able to capture these mountains’ reflection in the water brought me great satisfaction.
